Information You Submit
Queries Sent to Search Providers
A name, location, or other term entered in a search box is transmitted to the outside provider that operates the tool. Archer County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy terms control its handling of the query.
Messages Sent Directly
An email or contact submission is retained as needed to read and answer it. Message content is not shared beyond the organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal demand.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Normal web operations may record technical and usage details when a page loads.
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device class and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- Referring page or site, when supplied
- Date and time of the request
Cookies and Similar Tools
Cookies help measure how visitors use the site and support some functions. Browser controls can reject or delete them, although blocking cookies may change how certain tools or features work.
How Information Is Used
Collected information supports ordinary site operation and evaluation.
- Maintain reliable and responsive pages
- Send a search request to the selected partner
- Understand which resources visitors use
- Diagnose errors and security problems
- Display advertising that may reflect interests
External Sites and Advertising
Links may lead to Archer County offices, Texas corrections resources, release records, government portals, and outside search tools. Once a visitor leaves, the destination's privacy notice and practices apply.
Advertising providers may use their own technologies to recognize activity across websites and tailor ads. That tracking occurs within their systems, not as a database maintained by Archer County Released Inmates.
Parties That May Receive Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be handled by:
- Search partners processing a submitted query
- Analytics providers measuring site use
- Advertising networks delivering ads
- Law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order
Security Measures and Limits
Reasonable administrative and technical practices are used to protect information. No internet-connected service is immune from error, intrusion, or interception, so no promise of complete or breach-proof security is made.
Visitors Under Eighteen
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contact Us page to request deletion.
Privacy Choices and Requests
Subject to applicable law and verification, a person may ask to:
- Receive a copy of personal information held
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete eligible personal information
- Opt out of certain processing where that right applies
Texas Government Code Chapter 552 governs public information held by Texas agencies, not private-site user data. Requests for Archer County government records must go to the government custodian rather than through a privacy request here.
Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may be revised as services or legal requirements change. A revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date, and continued use after posting is subject to the new notice.
